Besides proper homestay, we arrange experienced tutors to provide tuition for our students at our own place to ensure they do well in their studies. A room equipped with whiteboard and TV screen is well setup to facilitate tuition classes here. Students staying with us need not to travel elsewhere for tuition. It save a lot of time and cost in traveling.
Tuition subjects include English, Chinese, Maths and Science. Tuition program are based on 1 to 1 or small group so that students have full attention from teachers.
We also organize 2-days AEIS intensive Weekend Camp before AEIS test to boost students’ confident in their coming test. This would prepare our students to be ready and familiar with exams situation.
Regular communication with students
At our home, we regularly communicate with our students. As we believe that communication between students and guardian serves as a connection between the two, which provides a good atmosphere for a mutual understanding environment. It also serves as feedback to help balancing student’s discipline and at the same time enjoying the homestay. The more we connect or communicate with our students, the more likely we would be able to help students learn at a high level and accomplish quickly.
Understanding students from difference cultures
We understand that foreign students come from different cultures and backgrounds. We are aware that if we demonstrate an understanding of the student’s culture, it will provide a better understanding between us and the student. For instant, we are not insisting to provide local traditional breakfast like kaya and bread, instead we provide their favourites burger or sandwiches with cream cheese, ham or sausage for breakfast. Every morning students enjoy different variety of breakfast. A student who was not eating breakfast before he arrive at our home, but now he improved his morning appetite and enjoying his breakfast after staying with us.
Mutual respect with students
As a responsible guardian, we blend our warmth and firmness towards the students in our home with realistic limits. We demonstrate value and respect towards our students here, which naturally win favour by having active learners and in our home. It is also our responsibilities to ensure that students treat each other with kindness, thus, creating a harmony environment.
Over times, we received awesome remarks from students and parents here. It is a very kind gesture for us to continue our consistency and improve our services with diligent.
